Miriam & A.J.

I followed Miriam and her boy A.J. around for an hour or so with a camera. I know that all the professionals are probably dying from my lack of skills, but I had fun.

I liked this one of A.J. Miriam was a little too posed. Hahahaha!

I loved how they were always laughing and joking with each other. I saw this cute pose from a friend and her engagements. I tried to get it to work but the sun was so bright. That is why they have squinty eyes.

I think that they turned out pretty good

Kennecott Mine

I needed to go to the Kennecott mine to get some extra credit for my geology class. The little kids thought that would be fun to go see.

Of course they got bored ten minutes into the ride and started to entertain themselves.
Driving up

The size of tires on the mining trucks!
The mine! My great grandpa worked on this mine

After Scott looked through the binoculars he asked if he could go home.

The mine was so big! The last time I saw this mine was about 6 years ago. It is much bigger now.

Love. . .

You know what I love?

Those moments when you are with your best friend and something funny happens. Not just something funny. . . but something that you laugh about so hard that tears are rolling down your face and your sides ache.

Yet when you try to tell others about the story, they just don't think it is funny. It is just something that happened between the two of you. Everybody else just had to be there.

Those moments are what I love.

And So It Begins. . .

Dad starting out
Clint, Amber, and I took out the fence. . . . HURRAY!
Grant suggested we rent a jack hammer. . . but we will get a good work out and save money.
Now I know why my dad had a lot of kids. . . free labor
Even Scott thought it was fun to help (no we didn't let him use the sledge hammer)

We made some good progress this first week. Now we have to pick out a swimming pool and finish tearing out the fence and patio.

And It Never Stops. . .

My dad loves to do projects around the house. If there isn't one. . . he will make one. This next project he has embarked on is . . .

Landscaping our front and back yard.

Who knows how long this will take or if we will actually get it all done. However, this should keep my dad very excited for the next year or so.

Beautiful Sisters

I really wanted to get some pictures done of all the four girls. After grumbling they all got ready and we headed out. (I think they ended up having lots of fun). At first we really didn't know how to pose. . . . then once we got going we just couldn't stop!
I am not as photogenic as my sisters. . . :( sigh. . . . but I try

I loved taking pictures of Miriam, she just knew how to pose!

I don't know which one I like better. . . . color or black and white

Oh Amber. . . . what a sweetheart!
I think this one is my favorite of Amanda! So gorgeous!
Well this one tied for my favorite of her. . . but then again she had a lot of good pictures
I don't know how this happened but my camera did this. Turned out pretty cool though
Me and my little bud
This is Miriam
The three oldest
Amber kind of got tired and decided to go chill. . . .haha! What a babe!
My beautiful sisters! I loved taking pictures of them!
Friends. . . . just chatting
My favorite of them together

Yuck!

Amber being silly. . . me not knowing she was being silly
