Woe is Me

Set alarm for 6:15
alarm didn't go off until 7:15
my bus comes at 7:30
I needed to shower

I got ready
(I looked pretty nasty)
caught the 7:45 bus

I was walking to my seat when the bus driver
decided to floor it and whip away from the curb
I lost my balance
I fell onto a guy's lap
I apologized and got off of guys lap
my seat was right by guy's seat

Most awkward, long bus ride of my life
guy got off of bus and decided to glare at me

Woe is me

Bleh!

Bleh = State of mind usually caused by boredom or an annoying situation that doesn't really cause any heavy emotional reactions

work = bleh

I seriously have nothing to do at work today. I still have four hours left.
I feel like hitting my head against the desk.

In biology we talked about Mad Cow disease and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. How your brain basically just turns to mush. I feel like my brain is turning into mush.

In my family finance class we talked about debt.
debt = bondage
I was really tired. I was listening to the professor and watching the girl in front of me pick out/buy a crib online.

After the lecture I heard a girl say "debt. . . I just don't get what the big deal is".

Surprise!

Jonathan surprised me by coming down Wednesday night!! :)

Thursday we went to World of Dance put on by BYU. It was so good!

Friday (after I got done with work and school)
we went up to my parents house to swim and relax.

Saturday we decided to go on a little road trip.
We were off to Manti!

We went to the Manti temple (my favorite temple)
to do baptisms.
When we got out of the car Jonathan realized he had left his recommend back in Provo. Haha.
Thanks to the new computer system they were able to look up his name to see if he did have a current one. He did!

Then we went to Wal-mart and bought some popcorn chicken, fruit, and chips. We went to a local park to enjoy. It was so peaceful there! We had to be responsible college students so I helped Jonathan study.
That night we went and saw Toy Story 3 at the Basin drive-in in Mt. Pleasant.
It was Jonathan's first time going to one (I think he enjoyed the whole thing . . except the movie. . .hehe)

Such a wonderful road trip and weekend with him.
Now for the not so fun part. . . . saying goodbye later tonight. :(

Manners?

Ever since school started I have been blown away by one thing.

Girls talking on the phone AND going to the bathroom at the same time.

SERIOUSLY!!?? Just tell the person you will call them back in a minute.

p.s. dont forget to wash your hands. . . .(shudder)

Clint

Clint (my older brother) just had his 22nd birthday.
We picked him up and headed to the Pie Pizzeria.

The Pie is the best place ever! If you are in SLC you must go visit this place.

(mom, dad, me
after we took this my dad said "it looks like we are in a shady place)

(Clint, Mom)

(Amanda, Scott)

Miriam telling us her latest adventure at college

Clint!
He is a stud. He has a house, car, a dog, and he is graduating this spring.
(Basically the perfect child)

My New Addiction

I wouldn't say that I am a picky eater. That would be my little sister Amber.
I am very picky when it comes to my fruit (which I love!)

I usually do not like apples. I always seem to get the really mushy ones. (icky!)
Apples should be crisp and a little tart

my favorite supervisor at work just stole my heart.
She has an 'overachiever' apple tree

She brings me a heavenly, green, tart apple every morning! :)

Which reminded me of a quote I just saw . . . .

“I like fruit baskets because it gives you the ability to mail someone a piece of fruit without appearing insane. Like, if someone just mailed you an apple you’d be like ‘Huh? What the hell is this?’, but if it’s in a fruit basket you’re like ‘This is nice!.’”

haha so true!

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

That saying is true.
Amber and I were able to go up to Boise and visit Jonathan for the weekend.
The biggest rainbow appeared.

We got all unpacked and settled by one in the morning.
Jonathan was super nice and woke us up at seven.
He made it up to us by making us pancakes!! YUM!
Then we went off to have some fun!
We started by going to the Boise State Penitentiary.

It was actually really cool there. Even though it was weird. . . I fell in love with all the old buildings (the outsides of them)

They even had a womans ward. Most were in there for killing their husbands.

After that we got into our swimming suits and floated the river! It was a little cold but it was so much fun!

When we ate lunch. . . Jonathan made a new friend. He actually got the little creature to come and eat out of his hands (We have proof, the video at the bottom)

Happy the squirrel liked peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Happy did not like grapes, carrots, and onion and sour cream chips.

Later that night we went to the old Boise train station

The next day we packed up, went to church, made lunch, and played soccer.
So hard to leave. . . but the trip was totally worth it!
