Testimony Meeting
So last night I couldn't sleep. . . like at all. Why? I kept going through what I would say IF I was going to share my testimony in church. I decided that I would be brave and do it in Relief Society. As my luck would have it the bishop talked FoReVeR! So I didn't get a chance to do it then. I thought oh well there is always next month. Well sacrament comes, Shantel gets up. . . then Kleresa and Shayna practically race to the microphone. Once up Kleresa goes, "well if Camille feels so inspired to come up and share her testimony we will have our whole apartment." Of course everybody laughed and looked at me! I wanted to kill her right then and there. I hate getting up in front of people! I get so nervous my legs start to shake, my voice is shaky and I forget everything I want to say. Then Shayna goes points at me when she is walking up. This made me mad. Of course I had to get up right after Shayna and share my testimony. It actually ended up going very well. I guess peer (roommate) pressure can be a good thing sometimes. It actually wasn't that scary getting up there. I'll have to do it more often now. . . at my own prompting.

camille you were already standing up when I pointed at you! sorry if I embarassed you, I wouldn't have done it if you weren't already standing up and walking to the microphone. You gave a great testimony and shouldn't be afraid to share it! We can all benefit from what you have to say.
ReplyDeleteRe-reading this post made me sound kind of bad. . . I didn't mean it in this way at all! I was mad that others had to get me up to share MY testimony. I should have just been able to get up there and do it myself! . . . It will be a slow work in progress.
ReplyDeleteOh how fun...I miss those days when all of us would share our testimony! Way to keep up the good work girls! You make me so proud! HA Mill's I'm so proud of you too! It was hard for me to get up at one point too and still it...just gets easier everytime! I don't know that anyone ever knows what they are going to say...it just comes when you get up there! Its amazing how that works! Love ya girls!
